Take That -The Circus digipak analysis.

Front cover:

The front cover of the digipak is almost too literal. The main image is of the 4 band members walking on a tight rope (a Circus act), and of course the album title is; The Circus. The Font's used are typical to Take That. They use a san-serif font, which is bold and outstanding. The title and band name are the only pieces of text on the Front Cover. The colours used in the image relate to the colours of the text well. The camera angle used on the image is also significant. The camera looks up at the band from below, maybe in the eyes of the audience for Take That. The front cover is bright and eye catching, mainly for sale purposes. From the front cover alone, it is not possible to tell the target audience as no specific parts to the image nor' font directly target a certain sex. This may be a good thing for the Take That target audience, as they have a versatile audience. As Take That sticks to a certain font and always has all band members in the main image, it is easy for their target audience to directly relate to them.

Back Cover:

The back cover is much like the front. It carries on with the same ideas of the image with sky blue (Literally) being the main colour of interest. The font used is the same as the font on the front cover to keep continuity within the digipak.  The simpleness and plain text is revealing to an audience. The bright colours on both the front and back colours will mean it will be eye catching. The plain and subdued text on the back also will make it easier for the target audience to read and locate the songs in the digipak. The record label and sponsored institutions are located at the bottom of the back cover, under the listed tracks. They are in a smaller font as the text is not as important as the list of songs/tracks. These will be the demands from the institutions and record labels to have the specified information on the back cover.
